There are thousands of meditation technique that have been developed and practice for over 5,000 years. Each has specific technique and skills that can be learned.
Meditation is an approach to train the mind, similar to the way that fitness is an approach to train the body. But many meditation techniques excites- so how do you learn how to meditate.
It is difficult  for a beginners to sit for hours and think of nothing or have an empty mind.In general the easiest way to begin meditating is by focusing on the breath.Meditation can also helps us to understand our own mind.
Meditation or seeking of relaxation through mental or physical exercise comes  in many form and is practiced in some form in every culture around the world.Any system of concentration or distraction of the human mind and body used to reach higher levels of awareness, physical performance,, concentration or relaxation generally created from an internal source. Mostly while doing meditation concentrate on mantras, repetition of a words, phrase, hymn, or prayer to clear our mind.



choose a peaceful place: The best place to meditate should be a quite place in the house where there are no people passing by. It could be a room or a corner it should be ventilated. It is good to  choose a pleasant place which is filled with greenery with good environment it gives you fresh air. The fresh air has many benefits, including boosting your brainpower, improving your overall health and you feel refreshed and your mind will be peaceful. The place should be clean, especially when you are trying to relax.

Decide how long you want to meditate:If you are just starting out. even one hour a day may be to much for beginners.I recommend you to meditate for anywhere from 5 to 10 minutes every day, Then increasing your time as you get comfortable with the practice, After a few weeks, Then you can start to evaluate the time and then more results you'r going to see.

You need one timer bell: Using a meditation timer can be beneficial, especially for beginners. some people have limited time for sitting, then use the timer as a reminder.If you practice meditation, you know what it's like to be sitting and wondering if you've finished your 20 or 30 minutes, or if you've sat for hours without realizing it.

Take a comfortable posture: One of the easy posture is sitting cross-legged with certain mudras in a place. Sitting cross-legged for longer period of time is the most common challenge to individual who are new to mediation.you can sit on the floor in any of the several pose:half-lotus, full-lotus pose.Two things are essential in pose that your spine must be straight and you must be able to relax completely without slouching.

Wear comfortable dress: The meditation clothes should be soft fabric which is white in color. The right outfit varies from person to person. some people meditate naked in the comfort of their own homes while other wear sweat pants and t-shirts. wear whatever feels comfortable to you. if you feel good in your clothing, you will have better meditation.

 Close your eyes: When you close your eyes, mentally ask your body, mind, heart spirit for whatever experience you most like to have in meditation while opening your eyes take a few moments to open your eyes.there are some techniques,tend to require that you have your eyes closed. some, on the other hand, specifically require you to have open your eyes; still others leave the option to you. close your eyes and rotate inner that gives you more benefit to your eyes.

Take a breath for two-five minutes: Generally, the purpose of breathing meditation is to calm the mind and develop inner peace,we breath naturally,preferably through the nostrils, without attempting to control our breath, and we try to become aware of the sensation of the breath as if enters and leave the nostrils, this sensation is our object of meditation. concentrate more on breathing while your in meditate. you just count your breathing while your in tensed that gives you relief. For most meditative practices the breath is very important because it is connected to both mind and body. If we are anxious, frighten or upset our breath tends to be shallow, irregular and quick.

don't try too hard:Meditation at its best is soothing , relaxing and effortless.It's mainly observation; observe your breathing with your conscious awareness. So  there is no real effort involved, just being consciously aware. So don't work too hard at it.

Get up slowly: After you finish your practice, take your time getting up. Don't rush off to the rest of your day, as you want to stay mindful and bring your meditative state into the rest of your day's activities.
